Privacy Policy
Your log stays on your phone.
RallyPath is a badminton training log. It has no account, no sign-in and no server. Everything you record lives on your device, and nothing is uploaded, sold or used for advertising. This page explains that in full.
Effective 4 September 2026. RallyPath is an independent app published under the name RallyPath, based in Viet Nam ("RallyPath", "we"). Questions go to [email protected].
1. What the app stores, and where
When you use RallyPath you create session logs: date and time, session type (practice, match or both), match scores and results, the skills you worked on, your own ratings and notes, reflections, coach feedback, and any photos you attach. You can also add a profile name and photo.
All of this is stored in the app's own storage on your iPhone. It is protected by the same device encryption and passcode that protect the rest of your phone. RallyPath does not create an account for you and does not send this data to us or to anyone else.
2. Apple Health
If you allow it, RallyPath reads badminton workouts from Apple Health so that a session can show time on court, active and total calories, average heart rate and heart-rate range. This access is read-only: RallyPath never writes to Apple Health and never changes anything in it.
Health data that RallyPath reads is kept on your device inside the app and is treated like the rest of your log. In line with Apple's rules for HealthKit, we do not use it for advertising or marketing, do not sell it, and do not share it with third parties. You can turn RallyPath's access off at any time in the Health app under Sharing, or in the iPhone Settings app under Privacy & Security, then Health.
3. Photos
You can attach photos from your library to a session and set a profile photo. The pictures you choose are copied into the app's storage; RallyPath does not scan or upload your library. When you save a share card, RallyPath asks for permission to add that image to your Photos library. It does not ask to read your library for this.
4. Sharing
Share cards and stickers are images created on your device from your own numbers and photos. When you share one, you hand it to the iOS share sheet and choose the destination yourself, for example Instagram, Facebook, Messages or Photos. From that point the image is governed by the privacy policy of the app or service you chose. RallyPath keeps no copy and has no record of what you shared.
5. Backups
You can export a full backup of your log as a single file and import it again later, for example on a new phone. The file is created on your device and saved wherever you choose (Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, and so on). We never receive it. Anyone who has the file can read the data in it, so treat it like any other personal document.
Your iPhone's own iCloud or computer backup may include RallyPath's data, depending on your Apple settings. That backup is between you and Apple and is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
6. What we do not do
- No account, no sign-in, no email address collected by the app.
- No analytics, no crash-reporting service, no advertising SDK, no third-party code that reports on you.
- No network requests from the app to us. The only network use is when you tap a link (this website, the App Store) or when iOS itself shares an image at your request.
- No sale of data, no sharing with data brokers, no profiling.
7. Deleting your data
Settings in the app has Delete All Data, which removes every log, photo and your profile from the device. Deleting the app does the same. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing on our side to delete; if you have exported backups, delete those files yourself.
8. This website
rallypath.app is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. It is served by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which processes standard connection data (such as your IP address and the pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse; Cloudflare's handling of that data is described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not receive or keep visitor logs.
If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as it takes to help you, and no longer than reasonably necessary afterwards.
9. Children
RallyPath is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Since the app collects nothing at all, this applies to the website and email only.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data. For RallyPath the practical answer is the same everywhere: the data is on your phone, under your control, and you can export or delete it from the app at any time without asking us. For anything about email correspondence, write to us and we will act on it.
11. Changes
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, for example by adding an optional online feature, we will update this page, change the effective date at the top and describe what is new before the change ships. Continued silence here means nothing has changed.
